WHITE OUT: S/S 16 RUNWAY TREND

So far, the Spring/Summer ’16 runways have the white idea. We love this runway trend for many reasons!

White. The blank canvass or the complete canvass? In design, white is energy and crispness. In fashion, its minimal appeal holds strong, where structure, silhouette and detail reign over vibrancy. This season as we scour the runway coverage, per NYC and London, for beautiful clothing, we couldn’t help but notice the grand nod to this favorable colour. From interesting textures, feminine appliques and subtle hints of metallic hardware’s, romance is certainly the air. Step aside bridezillas, we’re all in the game this year!

How to wear white? It’s a timeless hue that can be worn as a statement or head-to-toe. Play with flowing layers or tailored edges, and enjoy free means with accessories. As designer houses such as Burberry streamline the floor length look with touches of extras, Preen reminds us that white lace is the master of the chic, classic form.
